What is NLP?

NLP stands for Neuro Linguistic Programming. It is a powerful life-changing technology that helps you to get from where you are now to where you want and need to be, in order to feel happy and fulfilled. It provides a toolkit for implementing positive change. This unique model teaches you how to learn, how to motivate yourself and how to change your behaviour. It is also a means of developing high levels of personal effectiveness and becoming more successful in all areas of life.

Where does NLP come from?

NLP is based on a body of work drawn together from a variety of specialists from different fields including philosophy, science, psychotherapy, psychiatry, hypnotherapy, anthropology and linguistics. Their work was refined and developed by Richard Bandler and John Grinder in the 1970s to speed up the process of change in their clients. Thus, a methodology emerged intended to understand and change human behaviour-patterns and this became known as NLP.

How does NLP work?

NLP takes models of excellence and breaks down the components, which can be emulated to achieve the same level of success. Behaviours can be changed, modified, improved or removed to achieve the desired result. Simply by changing the way you think, you can massively increase your chances of success.

How and when can you use NLP?

In any situation where communication skills or language can influence and/or enhance results such as business consultation, sales, management and leadership, negotiation, education, counselling, therapy, relationships, parenting, nursing, public speaking, sports performance and many other areas.
